Description
UBS 240 is a durable underbody protection based on high-quality wax and very durable.
The product contains no aromatic constituents and is PVC compatible.
It adheres even in higher layer thicknesses on all body panels, axle parts, etc.
By using special and high quality ingredients and additives, the product meets the highest demands. UBS 240 also protects perfectly against mechanical abrasion on at risk body parts, such as inner bumpers, etc.
The product also protects in thin layers while remaining water-repellent. After de-rusting with FERTAN rust converter, UBS 240 offers perfect protection against rust and corrosion.
UBS 240 cannot be overpainted. It can however be applied thinly over painted subfloors to allow the colour to show through. It remains elastic and compensates for body movement

Shake well before use or stir product well. Due to the special viscosity, the product can also be processed well at low temperatures using both airless and standard guns.
Vehicles coated on the underbody with UBS 240 need only thin coats.
The result is a visually very beautiful, yet extremely stable and water-repellent protection.
For several coats apply UBS 240 in layers with a flash off time of approx. 2 hrs.
UBS240 can be applied int high temperatures and won’t drip.
The optimal processing temperature for the product and the vehicle is 20 ° C and above.
When applied by brush, warming in a water bath facilitates removal from the can and processing. Do not heat on ovens or other heat sources, the would be an explosion risk.
Cover or mask parts that are not to be coated, such as brakes, exhaust etc.
Observe safety instructions. Without adequate ventilation, explosive mixtures may form.

Clean tools immediately after use with solvent and rinse.

Several thin layers, applied at intervals of 12 – 48 hours, result in an extremely resistant, firmly bonded and homogeneous protective layer. Protect body seams and sheet overlaps with PREWAX Pre-Treatment Pre-Treatment wax before application to prevent long term contact corrosion.
Store product cool, but frost-free.
